#1: Additional Trips To The Dentist
You might not think about this very much but it’s important to remember: You need to see us twice a year for preventive dentistry visits. Keep up with your prevention and you will probably not need to see us any more than that (unless you want cosmetic improvements). While we love seeing you – and hope you enjoy seeing us – keep in mind that a healthy smile is much more convenient and less costly than a neglected grin.
#2: Surprise Cracks And Breaks
Strong, healthy teeth are much less likely to suddenly break or crack than teeth suffering from compromised health. Here’s why: If you’ve been a bit lax with our preventive dentistry suggestions, your tooth may become weak due to decay – as a result, it’s more likely to break. Or, if you’ve neglected to treat bruxism, the constant pressure may lead to an unexpected crack or break. Keep up with prevention and your teeth remain in one piece.
#3: Discomfort
Discomfort is typically your body’s way of letting you know something is wrong. The same is true with your oral health. By keeping your smile healthy with preventive dentistry, you can continue enjoying a smile that feels – and looks – great.
