United Way Women Who Rock

If you are looking to support a life-changing organization, then this event might be just up your alley. The United Way Women Who Rock event is fundraiser that honors the extraordinary parents in the community and empowers them to continue their education. Further, the organization offers a scholarship for individuals that meet the criteria.

This event will take place at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive in the Woodlands, TX. What’s more? The event occurs from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 and will feature keynote speaker, business, and life coach, Retha Nichole. Additionally, the event will honor 22 young parents who received their degrees through the United Way Women Who Rock Scholarship, and the United Way invites anyone and everyone who wants to come on out and celebrate.

Detroit ’67 by Dominique Morisseau

This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday March 03, 04, and 05, the SMSU Department of Theatre and Musical Theatre will present “Detroit ’67” by Dominique Morisseau. Tickets for this event are available for $12 if you purchase them ahead of time, or $15 at the box office.

The show will take place from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on each of the days, and will be held at The Erica Starr Theatre, which is located in the University Theatre Center (1740 Bobby K Marks Drive, Huntsville, TX 77340). For more information, check out the event listing here.

Spring Fling: A Symphony Orchestra Concert

To conclude your weekend, Spring Fling: A Symphony Orchestra Concert will be taking place this Saturday, March 05, 2022 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at The Payne Concert Hall, which is located in the Gaertner Performing Arts Center at 815 17th Street, Huntsville, TX 77340.
