When Pain Exists
Sometimes, if something is wrong with your oral health, you will experience pain. Keep in mind that pain does not always mean something requires treatment. It does, however, always mean that you should schedule care with our practice if the discomfort is something that hangs around for longer than a day or two. Whether your tooth hurts, your gum tissue feels uncomfortable, you’re dealing with soreness, or any other type of pain, simply call us and tell us what’s going on, so we may schedule a checkup.
When Pain Is Not Present
Guess what? You might not have any pain going on within your mouth but it’s possible that something is still not going well with your oral health! Patients often hear this detail and think, “Then how will I ever avoid serious problems with my smile?” The answer is simple: You’ll brush, you’ll floss, and you’ll remain committed to your six-month dental checkups. During exams, we will detect any changes that have happened (even if they’re just starting to form), so you can continue preventing problems altogether.
