Home Care Checklist
It’s easy to feel like you have a ton of details to consider when taking care of your smile at home. Fortunately, as long as you keep up with the essential checklist of preventive care, you don’t need to feel like attaining a clean smile is a challenge. First, brush your teeth every single day, two times a day, two minutes per session. Make sure one of those sessions includes flossing your smile. Pretty simple! Remember, this applies to you and every member of your family – even the little ones.

Now, for the preventive care that takes place outside of your home. Even though consistent daily home habits will promote clean teeth and gums (and the ability to avoid gum disease and tooth decay), you can’t do it all on your own. For this reason, we encourage every patient (children, too) to see us for an appointment every six months. We will thoroughly clean your smiles and monitor your oral health. In addition, if something feels “off” – like a sore jaw, sensitive teeth, or otherwise – contact us right away, so we can take care of a problem before it escalates.
