You Don’t Qualify
You are going to need to skip the dental bridge if you simply don’t qualify. This can happen for a variety of reasons, none of which are anything to worry about – they’re simple requirements that are out of your control. Understand a bridge better by considering the following:
- If you are missing more than three teeth, you won’t qualify for a bridge
- If you are missing no more than three teeth but they are not all missing in a row, you will not qualify
- If you are missing no more than three teeth but your remaining teeth are in poor health, you may not qualify
You Want A Removable Prosthetic
If you want a removable prosthetic, you’re going to need to skip the dental bridge. This is because it’s a fixed prosthetic (as opposed to a removable one, which is what you want). Fixed devices are placed “permanently.” In this case, it means we bond the bridge over natural teeth. A partial denture, on the other hand, you may remove when you desire.
