About Your Brush
Figuring out whether your toothbrush is completely helping your oral health or if you are using a yucky brush is simpler than you might have imagined! First, maintaining a clean brush is truly just as easy as rinsing it. You really don’t need to do anything dramatic or intense to enjoy a brush that is safe for your use. Rinse it until it is clean and let it air dry. Done! To ensure you aren’t collecting germs or bacteria (and to avoid using a brush that has seen better days), simply remember to replace it after you’ve used it for approximately three or four months (but no longer).
About Your Floss
Floss? Is it possible to accidentally use dirty dental floss and to damage your oral health, you may think to yourself? As a matter of fact, there are some habits that can become detrimental to your smile. Fortunately, they are extremely easy to avoid. First, you want to make sure you’re using a fresh little part of a long strand (around a foot and a half) of floss each time you floss. Don’t use the same spot twice! Second, it’s never a good idea to rinse and reuse floss. Always start fresh for the best results.
