Conroe Festivals You Do Not Want To Miss

The cool Fall weather is finally starting to set in, just in time for the holidays that are just around the corner! Indeed, it is the perfect temperature for outdoor activities, gatherings with friends, and attending your local fall festivals and farmer’s markets. What’s more? Many small business and community events are readily taking in the crisp days, including a variety of events taking place this very weekend. In today’s community blog post, your Conroe, TX dentist identifies three fun-filled festivals and gatherings that help bring in the season, and encourage

our patients to attend.

Festival of the Wolves

This Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary will be celebrating the Fall season at their annual Festival of the Wolves. Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary is a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue non-releasable wolves and wolfdogs, provide them a loving home, and educate the public about the animals.

If you are a lover of animals and nature, or if you simply want to support your local community and nonprofit agencies, then this event is for you! There will be food trucks, local vendors, family games and activities, as well as keeper chats with the wolves.

Tickets for the event are $12 at the door, and children of ages five and younger can get in free. This event will be located at 6731 Pavlock Rd. Navasota, TX 77868. For more information about this event, check out the event page here.

Montgomery Fall Festival

If your favorite pastime includes listening to local musicians and supporting community vendors, then you are in luck. This Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., Montgomery County will be hosting its annual Fall Festival. Further, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Running 4 Heroes, a nonprofit organization that benefits first responders who make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

This event features sets by William Clark Green, Jason Cassidy, Doug Stone, Rick Trevino, Cooper Wade, and Jeff Canada. There will also be vendors, a kid’s zone, food trucks, and even a petting zoo. The festival will take place in historic downtown Montgomery, and more information can be found on the event page here.

Oktoberfest 2021

And finally, you can’t experience the Fall without attending an Oktoberfest event! Come on out to Southern Star Brewing Company this Saturday, October 16 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., located at 3525 North Frazier Street in Conroe, TX to take part in the 2021 Oktoberfest celebration!
