Reason #1: Extractions Protect Your Oral Health
The only thing to worry about is what might happen if you neglect your current oral health problem, such as a serious infection or significantly damaged tooth. Agreeing to an extraction will prevent a number of complications from occurring, such as the spread of infection or severe discomfort. The goal of removing your tooth is the protection of your smile.
Reason #2: We Offer Sedation
You are not going into this procedure without attention to your comfort. When we perform a dental extraction, we prepare by accommodating your needs for numbness and relaxation. This means numbing the target site with local anesthetic, providing you with a warm blanket, and discussing whether you would like sedation. We offer either oral sedation or IV sedation at our practice.
Reason #3: You Will Regain A Complete Smile
Our plan is not to remove your tooth and leave your smile with an open space. The goal of restorative dentistry is to restore your oral health, which means a dental extraction is the first part of the process. To ensure we bring you back to your initial state of oral health and structure, we will create a plan to replace your tooth with you – you may select from beautiful, lifelike prosthetics (like implants or a bridge) to replace the missing tooth.
