Sensitivity Issues
Occasional sensitivity can happen to anyone. Maybe you knocked your tooth on a cup. Maybe you were eating hot soup and then took a bite of ice cream and your teeth just weren’t having it. However, when you realize that your teeth feel sensitive frequently, that it’s quite intense, or that one tooth is feeling very sensitive, this might mean any number of things. You may have a cavity or an infection. You may be dealing with bruxism you haven’t identified yet. To find out what’s going on, it’s best to come on in for a dental checkup!
A Popping Jaw
It’s true that lots of people deal with the occasional popping of jaw joint. Your TMJ may make a funny noise or act differently every now and then. When you’re dealing with this on a regular basis though, new symptoms occur, or you realize that in addition to some funny sounds, you’re experiencing pain or swelling: It’s time to come in for a dental checkup! You may have TMJ disorder, which is when your TMJs are not functioning as well as they should due to trauma or strain. We can treat it, so don’t wait!
Bad Breath
Yep, anyone can get bad breath at just about any time. Eat a meal loaded with garlic and it can happen to you, too. However, then, you practice your dental hygiene and your breath is much better. The next day, it’s back to its usual fresh scent. When you have chronic bad breath, though, that’s there no matter what you do: Come in for a checkup! This might mean you need additional care.
