#1: It’s Like A Magnet!
You might think that’s it’s absolutely ridiculous to think any one of your dental hygiene products could ever end up in the toilet. You’d have to really lose your balance or be doing something crazy to drop your toothbrush (or toothpaste or dental floss) in there, right? Not exactly. A quick slip of your fingers when you’re not paying attention and your brush may fall right in. This, of course, leaves you without a toothbrush (or other product), which means unless you have a backup stash, it’s time for a trip to the drugstore! Avoid this problem. Keep the lid down.
#2: It’s Sending Bacteria Out!
When you flush after the use of your toilet, you don’t see anything bad happening. However, on a much smaller, invisible to the naked eye level, there’s something going on: Water molecules from the toilet bowl are splashing out into the air, carrying with them whatever it is that’s in the water. Should these molecules end up on your toothbrush, you certainly don’t want to brush with them. The answer? Keep your dental hygiene clean and safe by: You got it! Putting that lid down!
