If You’re Unsure
Maybe you are uncertain about whether the types of discomfort or changes you’re noticing have anything to do with TMJ disorder. We know that because symptoms can be confusing, you may feel embarrassed that you’re not sure. This is an extremely common obstacle that comes up among patients. Remember that we would much rather you brought up changes and asked us about them instead of remaining silent. It’s the quickest way to let you know whether it is your TMJs, if it’s bruxism, if it’s something else, or if it may be time to talk with your general practitioner.
