A Crown Is Insufficient
In many cases, we can save even severely damaged teeth with a crown. This is often required if a tooth has suffered significant physical damage. You may have suffered a serious cavity that we can no longer treat with a simple dental filling. Or, a strong impact may shatter your tooth, leaving you in need of help. Whatever the concern, we will do our best to place a crown. However, if your tooth is too unhealthy or unstable, we will need to remove it to protect your entire smile.
Root Canal Will Not Work
Is your tooth seriously infected? If the infection has caused too much damage or if infection has spread, it may be too late for root canal treatment. Or, you may undergo a root canal that is unsuccessful. In either case, removing an infected tooth is extremely important when it comes to protecting your comfort and your surrounding smile.
Your Wisdom Teeth Are Problematic
If your wisdom teeth develop, you may have one of several experiences. They may come in just fine. Or, they may grow in on an angle that can disrupt your current alignment. You may also suffer from impacted wisdom teeth that fail to erupt through your bone tissue. To prevent the pain and complications associated with poorly developed wisdom teeth, we will suggest a tooth extraction.
