This Saturday, April 2, 2022, various local business owners in the Conroe area will be participating in the Funky Junque Market!
This Saturday, head out to support local small business owners and explore the various women’s and children’s clothing, home, holiday, and garden décor, and some delicious treats and eats! There will be over 100 vendors present, and your support is greatly appreciated.
The event will be held at Lone Star Convention Center, located at 9055 Airport Road in Conroe, TX from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee, and teachers, military, first responders, and children have free entry. For more information about this event, check out the event website here.
God’s Garage Car Show
If you are a car enthusiast that also enjoys supporting a great cause, then this next event is for you. This Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Margaritaville Lake Resort will present God’s Garage Car Show. This event features 50 unique vehicles on display, vendors, food trucks, live music, and raffles.
The event itself is free to the public, and all proceeds collected will go towards the donation of free vehicles needed by single mothers, widows and wives of deployed military who are in need. To learn more about this event or to sign up, check out the event page here.
Miles 4 Meals 5K
As a continuation of the good causes and purposes, this final event features a family-friendly 5/10k with donations and proceeds going to support homebound seniors. Tickets are available online here for anywhere from $30-$70, and includes a t-shirt, souvenir pint glass, and three drink tickets. Additionally, breakfast and lunch food trucks will be present for all participants and audience members who come out.
