Comic Conroe
If comics, superheroes, and sci-fi lore share a special place in your heart, then this event is for you. Coming up this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday July 23, 24, and 25, Galactic events is hosting an Comic Conroe featuring Kevin Sorbo and Booker T. This will be the first ever comic convention in North Houston, and will feature over 5,000 square feet of panels, celebrity autographs, workshops, and more.
Taking place at the Lonestar Convention Center at 9055 Airport Road, this event will feature a variety of celebrity guests, including Kevin Sorbo, Booker T, Chris Casamassa, Keith Cooke, Michael Copon, and many more. Doors to the convention will open at 12 p.m. noon all three days, and there will be a large vendor hall to peruse for some interesting finds.
Another fun aspect of this event includes costume contests, as well as cosplay meet-ups and an area for gaming. Tickets are available here on the event page, and packages range from $20-$120.
Heat Wave 2021
As much as it feels like summer just got here, it is rapidly approaching a close. And what better way to take it all in before fall rolls around than an end of summer concert? This Saturday, July 24, 2020 from 12p.m.-10 p.m., come on out to enjoy the first inaugural hip-hop concert in Conroe!
The event will take place at Southern Star Brewing Co. on 3525 N. Frazier Street, and tickets are available here. Featuring performances from Vision, Dizzy Mour, Jerm, Big 2X, Lord Adrean, and so many more, this event is a must see! Guests must be 18 and up, and there will be food trucks, water slides, and much more.
Little Palm Dinner Cruise
This Saturday July 24 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., come abord the Little Palm Yacht for a ride around Lake Conroe and enjoy some dinner and drinks. Located at Margaritaville Lake Resort in Montgomery, TX, this event provides a comforting and unique experience you do not want to miss. Tickets are $99 and available for purchase here.
