What Is the Go Texan Parade?
The Annual Go Texan Parade, now in its 55th year, marks the opening of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It occurs rain or shine and, this year, it has a new theme: Cowboy Boots and Texas Roots. The parade features over 100 participating individuals, schools, and businesses, offering them a great chance to showcase their brands and talents, and hundreds of people make the trip out to the parade every year, no matter the weather! The Grand Marshals of the parade this year are Chris Richardson and Ed McMahon, two Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo executive committee officers.
When and Where Is the Parade?
The 55th Annual Go Texan Parade will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020, from 1 PM until 3 PM in downtown Conroe, starting and stopping at N Metcalf Street near N Frazier Street.
