It’s that time of the week again, folks! Autumn is finally here as of yesterday, and the Fall events are coming at you in full swing. Every Friday, our team likes to take a break from our regular dental posting to bring you a few fun-filled events taking place in the area so as to encourage our patients to live their best lives and truly take in what Conroe has to offer. In today’s community blog post, your Conroe, TX dentist explores a few great events taking place in the area this weekend, and we hope you will stop by to check them out.
Celebrating Oktoberfest
A Fall staple in Germany – and now many other places around the world! – Is Oktoberfest! It is considered to be the world’s largest Volksfest, which often features a traveling fun fair and a beer festival. In Texas, beer is one of the staples of a good time, and there truly is an art to the process and the product.
This Saturday, September 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Frankenboltzzzz Brewing Company will be hosting Franktoberfest in celebration of the holiday! There is a $20 entry fee, and each ticket includes a liter of beer for the stain holding competition, in addition to the special release of True Marzen. Come on out to 173 N FM 1486 in Montgomery to check it out.
If one option to celebrate is not enough, you are in luck! Fass brewery is also hosting an Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 24, 2022, and Sunday, September 25, 2022. 15th Annual CAC Duck Race!
If you are looking for an event to take the family to, then you are in luck! This Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures will host the 15th annual CAC Duck Race. The event is a family-friendly community fundraising event benefitting the Community Assistance Center.
Spectators can purchase a ticket to enter the park, and tickets are included with all sponsorships. There will be prizes for the first and second place, as well as other opportunities to win prizes. To learn more about this event, check out the event page here.
CASA Cornament (Cornhole Tournament)
Finally, but certainly not least, CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County will be hosting a bracket-style competitive cornhole tournament just for fun this Sunday, September 25, 2022, beginning at 12:00 p.m. To learn more about pricing and participating in the event, check out the website here.
