Indeed, many events are much more satisfying in cooler temperatures, and the residents of Conroe are no exception to this notion. Fortunately, it is that time of the week again where we provide some fun-filled things happening in the area this upcoming week. Without any further ado, your Conroe, TX dentist presents three events happening in our city that our patients should attend.

Sunday Funday Stroll with Bridgewood Farms

This Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 2-5 p.m., Bridgewood Farms is hosting a Sunday Funday Stroll Tasting Event. It will take place at 201 Simonton, 225 Simonton, and 210 N. Main in Conroe. This event features tastings at B. E. Brewery, The Ferm Meadery, The Corner Pub, 202 Main, and the Red Brick Tavern, in addition to a silent auction with Brownlee Jewelers, a cake tasting with Vernele’s New Orleans Bakery, and appetizers from Honor Café.

Bridgewood Farms is an organization that provides services to help improve the overall quality of life of and provide resources for individuals with special needs such as intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, all of the proceeds of the event will go toward supplies and educational resources for Bridgewood Farms Programs.

Each tasting area will contain information about the services Bridgewood provides, including adult continuing education, ceramics and creative arts, horticulture, pre-vocational training, and health and physical education. Tickets for the event are $50 if you purchase them before the 17th here online, and tickets will be available for purchase day-of for $60.

The arts are back in town, and we encourage you to enjoy them! This Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 7:30-9:30 p.m., come on out to 1740 Bobby K. Marks Drive in Huntsville, TX to enjoy a performance at the Showcase Theatre. Jump is about a girl coping with the death of her mother and the loss of her childhood home. The main character seeks solace by visiting the bridge her mother took her to as a child, where she meets an individual named Hopkins who walks the bridge for his own reasons. Tickets are available for $12 here on the event page, and you can also purchase the day of for $15.

Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble Concert

If music is your passion, then look no further than the SHSU Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. This Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., the SHSU Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will meet for a collaborative musical performance at James and Nancy Gaertner Performing Arts Center at 815 17th St. Tickets are available for $12 here on the box office website, and same-day purchases can be made for $15.
